Tree and shrub plantings began taking place in late March, 2018 at the Hawkins Cove Ravine Restoration Project in Annapolis, Maryland. The landscaping contractor has begun planting trees along the banks of the channel.
In addition, there is now water, rather than sediment, under the pier at the mouth of the ravine. This was a major goal at the beginning of the project that has shown significant improvement only a month after completion.
