Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
web@spacreek.net
Is water quality a concern?
The point of this event is to raise awareness about water quality issues in Spa Creek and we want all participants to understand the risks associated with paddling in an urban waterway. We’ve been monitoring the water quality in Spa Creek all summer and will post the enterococci levels taken two days prior to the event. Hand sanitizer will be available at the event.
What happens if the weather is bad?
This is a weather dependent event and safety is our priority. If there is a small craft advisory, the event will be cancelled by 6AM the morning of the event and you will be notified via text message. If there is no small craft advisory but the weather is not ideal, the event will still take place but the guided tours may be shortened to ensure safety.
What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of the event and the modest fee no refunds will be given.
